Hi there!

Joyful Heart Photography is currently serving Crookston, Minnesota and the surrounding area. I offer most types of photography, but absolutely love maternity, newborn, and children’s photography. I really enjoy wedding photography as well. It’s such an honor to be involved with such a special day!

I started Joyful Heart Photography in the spring of 2007. Before that was a journey of photography. My dad used to teach high school photography and was in charge of the yearbook. In high school, I was involved with yearbook and the school newspaper. I went on to get my Associate’s Degree in photography and worked for two different portrait studios for about eight years before creating Joyful Heart.

Photography is my passion. Only two things rank higher in my life. My faith and love for Jesus, and my family. I’ve been married just over ten years now. We have two wild and crazy boys. One who is 6 years old and one who is 3. Yes, they keep me busy. And slightly insane. ;-)

I also work full-time as a supervisor for a photo lab and electronics department. I am truely blessed to be able to indulge and surround myself in photography in many different forms.
