Portrait Pricing

Sessions include travel to your house or other location; no clothing change limit, or restrictions on the number of people included in your session. Preview images are given a basic retouching and posted to an on-line, password-protected gallery. Ordered images include standard retouching.

Session Fees
Indoor Session – $45 At your home or in my studio. Up to 2 hours.
Outdoor Session – $25 Location of your choice. Up to 1 hour.
Additional time may be added for $15 per half hour.

General Info and Policies
Your session fee covers many things. Not only does it cover the time spent during the session, it includes the time spent uploading, backing up, and retouching your portraits. It also includes the cost of travel, and the on-line gallery used for viewing and ordering. Your gallery is password protected and you are invited to share it. The gallery is available for 30 days. Extensions may be available.

All images have basic retouching. Final retouching and special requests are done on selected images only.

Glass glare retouching is done on request only and is priced at $15 per person, per photo. While all efforts are made at the time of photography to prevent glass glare, sometimes it is not possible. Extreme glass glare is sent to my lab for retouching. Lab fees start at $45 per eye. Refraction and distortion due to thicker lenses will not be retouched, even at request. Due to the difficulties associated with glasses, I strongly suggest those who wear glasses to check with their eye doctor to borrow a set of empty frames for their portrait session. I will not remove lenses from frames.

At the time of your session, the session fee payment is due. Orders must be paid in full (unless previous arrangements have been made) before order processing begins. Payment is made “on-line” with a credit card or “off-line” by sending a check or money order. Checks take two weeks to clear. Once payment is cleared, then the order will be placed with my lab. Bounced checks are subject to a $30 fee, and all future payments will be made by cash, money order, or Cashier’s Check.

Once your order is placed and payment cleared, it will be ready in two to three weeks. If shipping is requested, I use USPS with delivery confirmation and insurance. You will be emailed when your order ships. Please allow seven to ten business days for shipping.

All print sizes 3×5 and larger include a Premium Luster Coating to help protect your print from light and fingerprints. All prints 11×14 and larger are mounted for stability.
