Still here!
Yep! I’m still alive and kicking. What can I say? I wasn’t very good at keeping a diary when I was younger, either. LOL 
These last two months have been very good to me! March and April were just fantastic. I had a lot of great clients in March, and April was spent getting caught up on their orders. Would you like to see some samples? If not, too bad, here they are. 
Just a few for now… I’ll try to get some more up later on. (No promises, though… LOL)
Lacy waited until almost the very last minute to do her maternity photos. Part of it was because I was at a convention, so scheduling had to wait until I came back. But one week was this……
And the next week there was a baby! I got to take some photos of the little princess. What a cutie!
I also FINALLY got Teri in for some photos. We’ve been talking about this for ages!
And last but not least, I’ve shown this little guy before. He’s getting so big! His room has a lot of cowboy stuff in it, so mom decided that daddy got a turn. Rock on, little dude! (See his tattoo on his left arm! I love it!)
That last expression just kills me.

Amanda and Aaron
Amanda and I first met in a childbirth class. We ended up having our baby boys on the same day! Her son, Michael, is only a few hours older than Brandon. Later on, I actually worked with Aaron for a few months at the same grocery store. So, I’ve known these guys for quite awhile now! In the past, Amanda had her own massage therapy business, and I can say she is VERY good at it! LOL She’s currently going back to college to pursue a different degree, so life is always an adventure for her!
These guys are also a load of fun to photograph. And it helps that they’re all really photogenic! Michael is a little stinker, but what little boy isn’t one at that age? I know mine is!
Did I mention that they also LOVE the Vikings? I heard that someone had a purple mohawk in honor of their favorite team!
I was thrilled to have them in for photos again. Thanks guys!
Time is flying
And the snow will be flying soon! Okay, so that was a bad word.
It’s November already. How on earth did that happen? I just wanted to remind everyone that time is starting to run out for Christmas pictures. November 30th is the last day for the holiday special. With the purchase of an 11×14 or larger, you will receive a complimentary digital file from your session. I don’t usually sell the individual files, so this is a great chance to get one for free!
Sessions are starting to fill up fast, so get ahold of me soon to schedule your photos! To make it easier to keep track of deadlines, I thought I’d put this calendar up for you!
Christmas special!
I know I’m still early in thinking about Christmas. School hasn’t started yet. It’s not even Labor Day! But, it’s hard NOT to think about Christmas given my day job. LOL Halloween is getting set out next week and some plans are already being made for Christmas. Ugh….
Having worked with photography in several different ways for the last 11 years (not counting college where I majored in it!) I’ve noticed one major trend for the holidays. Everyone wants family pictures taken and nearly everyone waits until November to start thinking about it. Or at the very earliest, late October. I’m sure a good part of it in our warm, tropical, northern Minnesota area (sarcasm anyone? LOL) it’s rebellion at the thought of the holidays, the snow, and the cold weather. Who wants to think about that while trying to savor the very last of our too short summers? But this is the BEST time for family pictures!!! Summer tans fade way too quickly, and the closer we get to Christmas, the busier everyone becomes!
I’m offering a very simple Christmas and Holiday special this year. With the purchase of an 11×14 or larger wall portrait, you will receive a complimentary digital file of your favorite pose with printing rights. What a great promotion! You can choose to use this image for your Christmas cards to have them printed wherever you need. It’s also a great way to get additional prints to give with Christmas gifts! This offer is good through November 30th.

Sunday, November 22nd – Last day for Portrait Parties
Monday, November 30th – Christmas Special expires
Tuesday, December 1st – Last day for Sessions for Christmas delivery
Friday, December 11th – Last day to order for Christmas delivery – Standard order
Friday, December 18th – Last day to order for Christmas delivery – Rush order
To rush an order, 50% of the order price is added to the total cost. Example: If you have an order of $100 before tax, 50% of that is $50. Your total with the rush charge would be $150 before tax. This is because my lab also charges a hefty rush charge, and I have found myself working through the small hours of the morning getting orders completed.
I have a new purple background! I’ve had a few requests for it, and was finally able to get one! Yay! Go Vikings! (Too bad they lost last night. 
At least we’re still only preseason.)
