Fairies & Huckleberries

What better way to remember childhood than with a piece of custom art from the new “Fairies and Huckleberries Collection” available from Joyful Heart Photography? Transform your child’s portrait into a whimsical scene, complete with an enchanted forest and looking-glass pond. A piece of art that will be treasured in the years to come.

This is a completely custom, limited edition session that will only be offered a few times a year. The next session will be Friday, April 6th and Saturday, April 7th. Session times available will be 9am, 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm on Friday and 9am, 10am, and 11am on Saturday. To schedule your session, please go to my booking page Joyful Heart Photography Appointments and select the Fairies & Huckleberries session. From there, you will be able to select an appointment time and you will have the option to pre-pay for the session. Sessions must be paid in full either through the scheduler or the day of the session. Due to the nature of these photos, the sessions are limited to children aged 7 months (must be able to sit on their own) to 8 years.

The session fee is $75, which includes a $50 print credit for you to use towards prints or one of the exclusive packages I’ve put together just for this Collection, which offer a significant savings for you. At your order session, you will have between 3-5 fully edited images to choose from.

Don’t wait too long to schedule a session for your own little Fairy or Huckleberry! These have had a lot of interest and sessions will fill quickly!

Just a couple of images from this wonderful family who came in for pictures. They took advantage of my remodeling sale and I’m so glad they did! Poor little Brooklyn though… she managed to have her first tooth pop through that evening. We even got a couple of images of mom and dad inspecting her mouth! Too much fun. :)   Since she was pretty crabby (and drooling everywhere!) we rescheduled for the following evening. We had a good time! Rebecca also makes these nifty hats! I may be adding a few to my inventory….. ;-)

Back to School Sessions – Update and more info

I wanted to update everyone on the Back to School Mini Sessions I’m offering. I’m sweetening the deal. $5 of every package is going to go to a local charity. I haven’t decided between the Humane Society, United Way, the Foodbank, or Toys for Tots, so I’m going to let you choose at the time of your session. To make this even more fun, I’m offering up a contest!

Here’s how it works – the more people you refer, the better the deal for you. An eligible referral is one who completes a paid mini-session and gives me your name as the one who referred them.
Refer 5 people – Receive a complimentary mini-session.
Refer 10 people – Receive a complimentary family session with $100 print credit.
The Grand Prize will go to the person who refers the most people will receive a complimentary family session with the  ”I Can’t Decide” digital collection valued at $250. That is a prize worth nearly $300!

There is only one Grand Prize, but the possibilities for the complimentary mini or family sessions, are unlimited.

Here’s why referring people to the Joyful Heart Mini Sessions is a great deal. There are two packages available for only $50, and you get a finished product from either of them. This isn’t a bait and switch where I pull you in with the promise of a free session and a couple of  free prints, only to do turn around and do the hard sale to pressure you to spend money, with secret pricing only available to see once you’ve finished the session. All of my portrait pricing is available for you to see on my website, so there are no surprises. I will give you several poses to choose from for your package. If you want to order more, you can, but I don’t believe in pressure sales. My sessions are fun and individualized. I am also a Certified Professional Photographer, fewer than 10% of professionals in the US have this distinction.

Yep! I’m still alive and kicking. What can I say? I wasn’t very good at keeping  a diary when I was younger, either. LOL :)

These last two months have been very good to me! March and April were just fantastic. I had a lot of great clients in March, and April was spent getting caught up on their orders. Would you like to see some samples? If not, too bad, here they are. ;) Just a few for now… I’ll try to get some more up later on. (No promises, though… LOL)

Lacy waited until almost the very last minute to do her maternity photos. Part of it was because I was at a convention, so scheduling had to wait until I came back. But one week was this……

And the next week there was a baby! I got to take some photos of the little princess. What a cutie!

And last but not least, I’ve shown this little guy before. He’s getting so big! His room has a lot of cowboy stuff in it, so mom decided that daddy got a turn. Rock on, little dude! (See his tattoo on his left arm! I love it!)
