I found out today that my grandma, my dad’s mom, passed away this morning. It’s not unexpected. She was in the last stages of congenital heart failure and actually held on a lot longer than we expected her to. She’s been in and out of the hospital and a care facility since last spring. She had a stroke late last week, and we knew it was going to be soon. But it’s still sad to see a member of the family die. I wasn’t as close to her as I was to my mom’s mom, and I do feel some regret that I didn’t get a chance to know her a little better.
I will be flying out to Oregon to be with the family for the funeral, although I don’t know specifics yet. It will be a quick trip… looks like Friday, Saturday, and back on Sunday.
So, if I’m out of touch or slow to respond, that’s why and I will get back to everyone as soon as I can.

She is just a little doll! We only had a short time for some pics, but as you can see, she did really well and we got some beautiful photos. I absolutely LOVE baby photos.
Aren’t those little toes just darling? I love baby feet!!!

These girls get more beautiful every year. I look forward to spending some quality picture time with them every fall for their birthdays.
Of course, they’re typical sisters, too. This may be more characteristic of them!!!
