Our family celebrated a bit early this year as I have to work at my day job tomorrow. Eh, it’s what happens when you work retail. But we had a great day today. Went down to the Polk County Fair and played around. Of course, we let ourselves get scammed by the game people and spent way too much money and got two stuffed animals in return. Besides that little snafu, the boys got to ride on some of the rides. It was the first time that Brandon was big enough to do so. Barely. I think he’s 37 inches and needs to be 36. 🙂 We also ate some really good hamburgers and hot dogs from the 4-H booth as well as malts and mini-donuts. I love those things. They’re a Fair tradition. Of course, after all our money was spent and all the free exhibits looked through, it was time to go. Both boys had to be dragged, kicking and screaming, back to the car. And were asleep before we hit the edge of town. LOL I love days like this.
On a seperate note, I have the updated pricing available on the portrait page. I have five packages with something for everyone. Ranging in price from a premium package that includes a substantial savings and many fun products, down to a basic, session-only package. I now also have the price list available in a downloadable pdf file for your convenience.
One last FUN thing to report! I entered a photo contest in June, competing against some very talented and awesome photographers. The top prize was a 10×20 background. I found out the other day that I won! I’m very excited to receive my new background and as soon as I get it, I will get some samples up to show it off. It looks to be a beautiful and versatile background!
I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Independance Day weekend!
